DOC FRIULI COLLI ORIENTALI

Red wine obtained from Refosco,

Schioppettino, Cabernet Sauvignon,

Merlot grapes. Ageing in barriques for 18

month. Vineyards facing south placed

in Ramandolo, on 350 – 370 metres above

sea - level, sheltered by Bernadia mount.

Kind of soil: eocene marnes.

Harvest is hand-made and usually takes

place in the second decade of October.

Colour: vivid ruby red with strong purple

reflections.

Perfume: strong and scented of ripe fruit

and vanilla.

Flavour: round, velvety.

It blends with important courses such

as red meat or game.
